LIMITLESS 2021

In 2021 we used the Josten's indexer to index the book but found that it wasn't perfect. Also since we were at home, our advisor had proofs sent to her house and did them. she kept all of the proofs from the entire year and when we came back to school at the end of the year, I took the entire 348-page stack home with me and checked the index by hand for the entire book. Before that, I designed these pages with a filler index, so every time we found a mistake, the entire thing had to be shifted. I also went through to change the weight of the topics in the list so they are bold. These 8 pages, although the design was simple, were some of the hardest to perfect the design of, keeping it consistent and everything lined up.

By the time Covid hit in 2022, we knew our editorships for the following year so each designer had the opportunity to take a desktop mac home. Throughout the rest of the school year and all summer, I figured out how to use indeisgn on my own. We each came up witha few cover deisgns and met to rvise it a few times. We originally wanted to use pictures on the cover and thought about a picture of the student section from the back with their arms up. Once we realized that the student section and football games would look a lot different that year, we switched gears to the silhouette. Designing this cover is how we decided on a lot of our style guide for the year, we used colored drop shadow/outlines like the silhouette, we had gradients from each of our colors, and continued with the lines to match one of our fonts.
