These are simple ways I decorate Instagram story posts associated with yearbook to catch people's attention.
The door to the courtyard in the editor room is a chalkboard, I like to decorate it to keep the room fun. For Friendsgiving, we all wrote things we were thankful for on it.
Lauren, one of my Co-EICs, and I were featured on TikTok account @gbcereal_gs, run by Mr. Todd Babiasz and Giovanni Serra, to promote the yearbook. We showed the audience the 2022 cover for the first time and let them know where they could order a book. The account was actually covered on our TikTok Feature, page 69.
We have staff t-shirts each year for club photo day and our promotional "yearbook week". I was lucky to be able to design the shirts for both the 2021 and 2022 school years. For 2022 we made a very simple design so we could give staff the shirts as a gift at the picnic. In 2021 I also designed a simple button to sort of represent that special year.
